 Volunteering Opportunities

Deer Hollow Farm would not survive without our volunteer community.

We have two types of volunteer opportunities:

1. Volunteer on the Farm

Deer Hollow Farm is supported by a community of 100+ volunteers. No experience is necessary, training is provided!

2. Be on our Board

Friends of Deer Hollow Farm is a support organization for the Farm. Our mission is to support the farm’s operations and raise awareness for its importance to our community.

Board duties can include:

  • Writing grant requests to local organizations
  • Conducting fundraising campaigns
  • Maintaining the website and Facebook page
  • Publishing donor newsletters

We meet quarterly. Typically, we work in small committees.

Our fundraising and promotions support:

  • Field trip scholarships for low-income students
  • Animal feed and care
  • Farm operations
  • Major Farm improvements like the new chicken coop and duck pond
