Volunteering on the Farm
Deer Hollow Farm is supported by a community of 100+ volunteers. No experience is necessary, training is provided!
Volunteer roles:
- Docents: Teach schoolchildren about farm animals and gardening, the wilderness, and Native American habitat and customs.
- Weekend Docents: Educate visitors about the farm’s animals and programs.
- Garden and Orchard Volunteers: Plant and maintain the teaching garden and orchard.
- Livestock Volunteers: Feed, clean and care for livestock.
- Maintenance Volunteers: Work with farm staff on maintenance projects.
- Summer Camp Interns: Interns assists counselors in leading activities for youth 5 – 14 years old at the farm and in the wilderness. Interns must be 14 years old and above.
- Fundraising events such as Spring Farm Tours and Spooky Times
