Deer Hollow Farm is a 160 year-old historical ranch in Silicon Valley. Its mission is to support environmental education programs for our community. Open to the public, this nonprofit teaching farm welcomes 100,000+ visitors and thousands of students annually.

Friends of Deer Hollow Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports the Farm via fundraising, awareness efforts and fun events for families.

Come meet our new farm babies – lambs, kids, and farm-animals-2lovable Luna with her off-spring Roxie. Get up close and personal with the Farm’s resident sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, and rabbits.

The pigs are settling into their new home, made possible by Friends of Deer Hollow Farm donors! New fencing and shelters will keep them happy and allow Farm visitors good viewing.



Enjoy Fun, Interactive Exhibits

Visit the Nature Center for even more hands-on learning. Catch the orchard in bloom and admire the bounty of the garden, where kids will plant a seed to take home.

Groups are limited to a max of 19 on weekends. 


  1. CARPOOL. The parking lots can get busy. Have your party consolidate cars to minimize the time you spend looking for a spot.
  2. ARRIVE EARLY. Doors open at 10am. The first ones in typically have the place (and the animals!) to themselves. BONUS: Get there around 9:45am, and you can get payment and the waiver form out of the way.
  3. $7 per person. Children 1 and under are free! We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
  4. NOTE: The farm is closed to the public on Farm Tour days and is only open for event attendees from 10am – 2pm.
