Our Board of Directors Needs You!
Friends of Deer Hollow Farm (FODHF) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Board is composed of a maximum of 13 volunteers and has six committees.
FODHF Mission Statement
- Preserve Deer Hollow Farm for future generations, a historical area and working farm.
- Support the Farm’s regional environmental education program for the benefit of schools and the community by raising funds through donations, grants, and public events.
We are seeking members to join the board as well as to support board committees.
Board member work requires approximately 10 hours a month with key requirements as follows:
- Support Deer Hollow Farm programs
- Donate $250 per year to Friends and support fundraising efforts
- Work on at least one committee, ideally two
- Attend and participate in four Board meetings annually
- Serve for at least one term of three years and a second three years if desired.
We are currently in need of individuals with fundraising, grant writing, marketing/PR, finance and legal expertise as well as a love for Deer Hollow Farm. We invite you to learn more about our board:
You can also support Friends by joining one of our board committees. This requires 1-2 hours per month. We currently have six committees:

- Donor Relations & Outreach
- Finance
- Marketing Communications
- Merchandise & Events
- Volunteer Farm Projects
