History of Deer Hollow Farm

The Deer Hollow Farm is a 160 year-old historical estate whose mission is to promote environmental education and community.

Deer Hollow Farm History

This “living history center” and community resource was settled in the 1850s by the Grant Brothers. It was known as The Grant Ranch before it became Deer Hollow Farm, a teaching homestead farm, in 1976.

Since then, millions of Silicon Valley residents and more than 100,000 students have enjoyed the farm’s barnyard, animals and century old buildings.
