2016 Ohlone Day is fast approaching!
Join us Saturday, October 1 to tour the Bay Area’s only replica Ohlone Village and to enjoy exciting educational activities to learn about the Ohlone way of life.
The Ohlones were the Bay Area’s first inhabitants, living here for 10,000 years. Hands-on activities for the whole family include acorn grinding, face painting, and rope making, just to name a few. Special guests will provide exciting demonstrations of fire-starting and flint-knapping (making tools and arrowheads).
The event is rain or shine and all ages are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
