Friends of Deer Hollow Farm raised $26,881 from 108 donors in its first entry into the Silicon Valley Gives online campaign. We ranked #7 out of 305 nonprofits in our category.
This is a huge win for us, as a relatively unknown player on the Silicon Valley nonprofit scene.
Where Did Our Donations Come From?
Of the Friends’ 108 donors, 47 were new donors to the Farm, meaning we are reaching new people, which is very exciting! Friends Board member David Fung led Friends’ SVGives campaign, who did a fantastic job.
Our fund-raising campaign was also matched by two special donors: The Merrimac Fund and The Henrikson Family Foundation.
Thank you to everyone who donated their time and money to making this fundraiser such a success. It is really exciting to see how important Deer Hollow Farm is to the community.
About SVCF Gives
This was the second annual Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) SVGives online campaign. SVCF partnered with Razoo to create an online platform for this major online fund-raising event for nonprofits. More 17,000 donors gave more than $7.9 million to thousands of 501(c)(3) nonprofits in San Mateo, Santa Clara or San Benito counties.
