Friends of Deer Hollow Farm was honored at a recent Mountain View City Council Meeting with a special Proclamation for the nonprofit’s fundraising for the Farm. Mountain View Mayor John McAlister presented FODHF Board President Sue Gale with a special Proclamation recognizing Friends efforts that resulted in a $25,000 increase in Farm operations support from the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department.
Now Mountain View will receive $75,000 from the County for Farm operations annually.

The Proclamation also recognized that Friends received a grant from Santa Clara County for $25,000 for tuition and busing for each of the next three years for thousands low-income children to attend Farm field trips.
In addition, Friends has worked with the Cities of Cupertino and Los Altos Hills for their annual contributions of $10,000 and $9,950 respectively to Farm operations.
