Friends of Deer Hollow Farm participated in Silicon Valley Gives (SVGives), an online fundraiser hosted by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. SV Gives benefits hundreds of South Bay non-profit organizations, for the second year in a row.
We are happy to announce that our amazing community came together for a fabulous show of support of Deer Hollow Farm.
Donors rose to the challenge, uniting to raise the minimum and a bit more for measure, for a grand total of $13,335. Thanks to generous matching grants from the Henrikson Family Foundation and Merrimac Fund, that total comes to $26,335. But that’s not all!
Friends earned three special awards:
- A $1,111 Silver Spring Power Hour Prize for Environmental Organizations: Most Unique Donors prize!
- A $25 Skoll Foundation Dollar for Dollar Matching Grant at 9 a.m.
- A $500 Skoll Foundation Dollar for Dollar Matching Grant at 5 p.m.
