• Farm Closed and Spring Farm Tours Cancelled

By Shayne Zalameda, March 21, 2020

As excited as we were, it breaks our hearts to say that the Spring Tours scheduled for March 21 and April 18 are cancelled. In addition, the Farm itself will also be closed to the public until further notice.

The County’s Health Officer, Dr. Sara Cody, announced on Thursday, March 5, that 20 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Santa Clara County. And we are likely to see more. To protect the health of the community and stop the spread of the virus, the Public Health Department is recommending postponing or canceling mass gatherings and large community events where large numbers of people are within arm’s length of one another. When large gatherings can’t be avoided, anyone who is sick or in a vulnerable category should not attend. Earlier this week, Dr. Cody provided new guidelines to protect people who are at a higher risk of serious illness from the virus.

We here at Deer Hollow Farm prioritize everyone’s health and safety due to the current COVID-19 situation. As this situation develops, we will continue take proactive steps to continue operate safely and effectively. We are wishing you all the very best during this time. Thank you for understanding.

    Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
