Feta Cheese Making Class

Impress your dinner guests with fresh, homemade cheese! For many, the prospect of making your own cheese is a bit daunting. In this four-hour course, Susan, one of our wonderful Deer Hollow Farm livestock volunteers, will demystify making cheese at home – it really is a fun hobby! Learn skills applicable to many types of cheese that you can make at home.

Participants will be lead on a tour of Deer Hollow Farm, observe a dairy cow milking demonstration, and go step-by-step through making a batch of feta-style cheese to take home. Participants must be 14 years of age or older.
